This week, Mr Patrick McAfferty (Highland Council) gave us food hygiene training. We learned about the common causes of food poisoning and how to prevent it. We used talcum powder and moisturiser to show the spread of germs between people just by shaking hands and sharing desks and pencils. We checked how thoroughly our volunteers washed their hands, using ultraviolet lights.
